Chinese designer Zhang Zhoujie paves the way of the future of furniture design in his Triangulation Series collection. Zhoujie’s designs maximize the potential of the materials used to construct them. Consisting of interconnected triangles, mathematical logic and strategic engineering or the premiss behind this series. The futuristic appeal of these ergonomic creations still upholds their organic nature as a result of Zhoujie’s minimal interference with the project as to “give space to the imagination”. The craftsmanship in each furniture creation is apparent in the intricately placed triangular members connecting together in a purposeful and fluid fashion. [via chinadesignhub]
